What are fibroids?
Fibroid tumors are usually benign (non-cancerous) tumors found, most often, in the uterus of women in their 30's and 40's, although they occasionally develop on other organs which contain smooth muscle cells.
Fibroid tumors are solid tumors which are made of fibrous tissue, hence the name 'fibroid' tumor. Most often fibroids occur as multiple tumor masses which are slow-growing and often cause no symptoms.
The size of fibroids varies widely among women and some are so small that a microscope is required to see them. However some women experience a single large fibroid...
Progesterone is very well absorbed transdermally (through the skin) where it is stored in the fatty tissues for use as needed and unlike progesterone taken orally, it is not subject to being intercepted by the liver. For those women who are especially deficient in progesterone, it may take three to twelve months to restore optimal levels. For men with prostate disorders results may be felt within one or two days, but long term benefits may require six months.
In the morning and at bedtime, the cream should be gently massaged by the palms of the hands to areas of the body where one blushes:...
PMS - Traditional & Successful Treatments
Traditional PMS Treatments
Traditional treatments have included tranquilizers, diuretics, dietary changes, thyroid supplements, herbs, vitamins, exercise, acupuncture and psychiatric counseling. While these may provide some easing of symptoms, the underlying causes remain.
Successful Treatments
Dr. Joel T. Hargrove of Vanderbilt University Medical Center has seen some success in treating PMS with oral doses of natural progesterone.* The problem with oral progesterone administration, however, is that the liver intercepts approximately 90% of the hormone....
The Hidden Hazards of Microwave Cooking
by Anthony Wayne and Lawrence Newell
Is it possible that millions of people are ignorantly sacrificing their health in exchange for the convenience of microwave ovens? Why did the Soviet Union ban the use of microwave ovens in 1976? Who invented microwave ovens, and why? The answers to these questions may shock you into throwing your microwave oven in the trash.
Over 90% of American homes have microwave ovens used for meal preparation. Because microwave ovens are so convenient and energy efficient, as compared to conventional ovens, very few homes or restaurants...
The Food and Nutrition Board recommends that public water supplies be fluoridated when natural fluoride levels are significantly below 0.7 mg per liter.
The accepted concentration of fluoride in drinking water is 1 ppm. Concentrations over 2 ppm begin to be a health risk.
Aluminum fluoride and Alzheimer's Disease
Many municipal water supplies are treated with both alum (aluminum sulfate) and fluoride. These two chemicals combine with each other easily in the blood to form aluminum fluoride. Although elemental aluminum can not pass the blood-brain barrier, some compounds such as aluminum fluoride...

Health & Science
Dear Friends at Health Science,
Thank you for your great service and delivery of the Serenity Progesterone cream.
This product has really taken off with my patients. I am seeing a lot of good results from the patients in just over two weeks. The most common report of benefit is with the women’s menstrual cycles - PMS, cramping. Problems with fatigue are clearing up. The most notable is a 54-year-old female who has gone through menopause and was advised to take estrogen therapy. She has about a 50% improvement...

The immune system is an intricate network of specialized tissues, organs, cells, and chemicals. The lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, thymus gland, and tonsils all play a role, as do lymphocytes (specialized white blood cells), antibodies, and interferon.
Two types of immunity protect the body: innate and adaptive. Innate immunity is present at birth and provides the first barrier against microorganisms. The skin, mucus secretions, and the acidity of the stomach are examples of innate immunity that act as a barriers to keep unwanted germs away from more vulnerable tissues.
Adaptive immunity...
